ABOUT THE PROJECT

This project covers the preparation of a Water Audit for PT Pertamina Patra Niaga at Aviation Fuel Terminal (AFT) BIL, supporting the evaluation of water consumption and more efficient water resource use across the facility’s operations. The work focuses on identifying water supply sources, mapping water requirements, assessing consumption patterns, and reviewing water distribution and usage systems throughout the terminal. The audit aims to provide a clearer understanding of how water is managed while identifying opportunities to reduce consumption and improve water conservation.

The water audit considers the operational characteristics of an Aviation Fuel Terminal, including water requirements for office facilities, sanitation, maintenance, utilities, and other relevant terminal activities. The assessment may involve reviewing water consumption records, inspecting piping networks and water meter readings, preparing a water balance, and identifying potential water losses and inefficient usage. These findings provide a basis for recommendations to improve water efficiency, strengthen monitoring systems, and introduce practical conservation measures suited to the facility’s operating conditions.

The Water Audit is expected to help PT Pertamina Patra Niaga manage its water resources more effectively, improve the consistency of consumption monitoring, and support operational efficiency and environmental performance goals. In addition to helping control water consumption and operating costs, the project can contribute to the company’s environmental management initiatives and support improved performance under Indonesia’s PROPER program through sustainable water efficiency and conservation practices.

Project Objectives and Benefits

The Water Audit for PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Aviation Fuel Terminal BIL aims to provide technical information on water consumption, distribution systems, and opportunities to improve water efficiency and conservation throughout terminal operations. Through consumption data collection, water system inspections, and water balance development, the audit is expected to help the company identify areas of inefficient water use and determine practical improvements aligned with operational requirements.

The audit findings are expected to support the development of water-saving programs, improvements in consumption monitoring, and better control of water-related operating costs. In addition to promoting more efficient operational practices, the project can provide supporting data for environmental management and water efficiency performance under the PROPER program, while strengthening the company’s commitment to responsible and sustainable resource use.
